We are slithering our way into the bush for a day.  Wander through the enclosures and see the cuddly, scaly and fuzzy friends that are housed here.  Join in with the displays and shows.  It's a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals.

Lunch is a BBQ picnic amongst the Kangaroos that roam the beautiful grounds.  This is a great tour for the young and young at heart so bring the gran-kids!

Floriade And Tulip Time   2 day tour departs 17th September,  2016   $255 per person twin double share
Tour Code : 1609003

Day One:  Travel to Canberra for a relaxing wander through Floriade.  Browse the handy hint stalls and take photo's of the wonderful displays that have popped up with the fresh Spring air.

A choice of food stalls enables you to purchase something for lunch.  Mid afternoon, you can join the coach for a relaxing tour around the highlights of our Capital city.  We take a drive through the embassies and public buildings which surround Lake Burley Griffin.  At this time of year, the trees are all blossoming and it really is a picturesque view no matter where you cast your eyes.  For those that have chosen to stay at Floriade, we will pick you up at approx 3pm and travel to Goulburn for our overnight stay.  After checking into our accommodation and freshening up, we all join together again for dinner.

Day Two:  After a hearty cooked breakfast this morning we are able to have a quick look at Goulburn, the wool centre of NSW.  Known for the 'Big Merino', Goulburn has a rich heritage and history.  We make our way to Bowral, the hosting village of Tulip Time.  We have time to browse the plantings and also meander through the quaint arcades and shops of the village.  We are also adding in a visit to an open garden - there are so many to choose from.  Stately homes and local sites offer the chance to wander through their properties so that we can experience the beauty and atmosphere of these beautiful gardens.  The Southern Highlands certainly comes alive once its cold climate winter has subsided.

At the end of the day, we return to Western Sydney.  We should arrive back at approx 4.30 to 5.00pm.
