The Tasmania Tour incorporates the highlights of our southern island state. With so many scenic and tasty offers, Tasmania is a tourist paradise.
We have included the historical Port Arthur with a ghost tour and plenty of time during the day to wander this morbid, yet beautiful location. Once you have visited this place, you will have a different view of humanity and history in Tasmania. On a lighter note we visit the towns of Ross and Richmond - These little towns are amongst many of Tasmania's cottage craft towns with a background that extends to the earliest Australian settlement period. The local industry and history is showcased in these towns and we have plenty to wander in and out of. Be sure to check the Christmas shop at Richmond! It is a feast of Christmas luxury for the eyes.
There are also the scenic wonders of Tassie. As we drive through different areas the scenery can change at the click of a finger. And we will make time to take photo's as we travel through some of these places. Cradle Mountain is a prime example. Pristine and scenic. Cataract Gorge, Launceston, and Hobart are fantastic places for enjoying the spring gardens and quaint old cottages that line the streets. Battery Point is a must for a wander. And the park in Launceston is just gorgeous to walk around on a sunny afternoon. Our route through Tasmania is designed to include as much scenery and activity in the time that we have over there.
To tantalise the taste buds, we have included our Bruny Island Foodies day. Its a day of checking out the local produce along the Bruny Island track. With the local produce available we anticipate that everyone will enjoy a tasting here there and everywhere - smoked smallgoods, salmon, oysters, cheeses, wines, chocolates......the list goes on! This day is one that I personally am looking forward to. At Salamanca Markets there is the abundance of local crafts, produce and knick knacks. It is great to wander through the markets and taste test some of them. It is also good to be able to extend your browsing past the markets and venture through the surrounding area. Parklands with beautiful gardens adorn the city close by. The heritage homes, the local food outlets and pubs - they are all within easy reach of the markets.

The chosen accommodation venues are high quality with facilities to suit our passengers after a good day of touring. We have also chosen to get that local insider touch by engaging local tour guides for the cities of Hobart and Launceston. You just can't beat that local knowledge.
We have included all meals where suited to the itinerary. Some lunches are not included due to our location and/or circumstances. An example of this is Geeveston where we have the opportunity to choose between the local bakery and the selection of cafes that have a suitable variety for us to choose from. Also while traveling, we have chosen to allow everyone time at a suitable location to browse and look after themselves as far as a quick snack lunch goes.
